How it works
- 1
Paste or import your list
Type one name per line, or bring in a .txt, .csv or a column from Excel or Google Sheets. Duplicates are cleaned up for you.
- 2
Hit spin
Tap the wheel, the button, or press Space. Every name has exactly the same chance.
- 3
Celebrate (or cry)
The winner gets confetti and a reaction from Piknado. Remove them and spin again, or undo if you slipped.
Questions, answered
Is the wheel really random?
Yes. The winner is chosen with your browser’s secure random generator before the wheel starts moving, and every entry has an equal chance. The animation simply lands on that pick.
Can I stop the same person being picked twice?
Turn on “Remove winner after spin”, or tap “Remove & close” in the winner popup. Changed your mind? Hit Undo within ten seconds.
How many names can I add?
Up to 1,000. Past 100 the slices show colors only, and the winner still pops up in full.
Is my list saved anywhere?
Only in your own browser, so it is there next time you visit. Nothing is sent to a server.
Can I pick more than one winner?
Yes. Set “Winners per spin” to any number up to 50. Nobody is picked twice, and you can reveal them one by one or all at once.
Does it work on my phone?
It does. The wheel sits on top, your list below, and the Spin button stays within thumb reach.
