How are the teams balanced?
Names are shuffled and dealt out like cards, so team sizes never differ by more than one person.
Can I set the number of people per team?
Yes. Switch to “People per team” and we work out how many teams you need.
What happens when names don’t divide evenly?
Some teams get one extra person. For 11 names in 4 teams you get 3, 3, 3 and 2.
Are the teams really random?
Yes. The shuffle is a Fisher–Yates shuffle driven by your browser’s secure random generator.
How do I share the teams?
Tap “Copy as text” and paste into WhatsApp, LINE, Slack or email. Each team is one line.
